Stéphanie completed her graduate internship at PQA Healthcare, Inc. providing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), including crisis intervention & suicide prevention, case management, medication management support, psychosocial & psychiatric rehabilitation, individual, couple, family, career & addiction counseling to individuals with severe & persistent co-occurring mental illnesses & substance use disorders (Aug. 2016-May 2017). From counseling intern to Qualified Mental Health Professional and ACT Team psychotherapist, Stéphanie worked diligently to provide the best psychotherapy & Illness Management & Recovery (IMR) to her individual clients & Dual Diagnosis therapy group members until March 2019.

Stéphanie became a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) & a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) November 2017. Since May 2018, Stéphanie has also practiced under her Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) credential. Her areas of expertise revolve around all aspects of domestic violence victimization (i.e. emergency & crisis intervention, emergency and permanent housing, community and court advocacy, financial & career counseling, grief & domestic violence counseling as well as support group & group counseling), while her graduate training & clinical experiences have widened her scope of competence, practice and expertise to mood, anxious, obsessive-compulsive, post-traumatic, personality & substance use disorders.
